Stephen Smith
Stephen Smith, is Director, Housing & External Affairs, Legal & General Network and has worked in the mortgage industry for over 33 years. After working at Abbey National, The Mortgage Corporation and Homeloan Management Limited he joined Legal & General in 1994. He is responsible for Legal & General's Mortgage Club, estate agency franchise and surveying businesses. He was appointed to the Board of the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries in February 2003 and is currently Deputy Chair. He was presented with a lifetime Achievement Award at the British Mortgage Awards in 2009.
